Surroundings

Rokytnice offers inexhaustible amount of marked tourist trails and paths, cycle tracks and wide range of sports activities. The evenings can be spent in any of many pleasant pubs and restaurants or at the disco. Sports activities: sports hall (playground for fives, gym, fitness center), outdoor tennis-courts, mountain bike rental, sauna, skittles, horse farm (horse rides), bowling, solarium, massages, tandem hang glider flights. The bikepark in Horní Domky area is in operation during the summer.

Winter accommodation

Rokytnice nad Jizerou is undoubtedly one of the most favourite ski resort in the western part of the Giant Mountains offering 24 ski lifts, two four-seat chair lifts and more than 23 km of ski slopes with all levels of difficulty. In the vicinity of Rokytnice nad Jizerou you can use 57 km of cross-country ski trails. Ski centre Studenov, Modrá hvězda and Bahýnka are dedicated particularly for families with children and beginner skiers. In all Rokytnice ski centres or in their close vicinity there are available rentals of ski and snowboard equipment, ski services, ski schools, restaurants and fast foods. Free of charge Skibus goes through the whole Rokytnice nad Jizerou to the ski centres in an half-hour periods.
